The things people most often need to know before they message
Cutoffs. 8 pm the evening before your zone's route day for groceries, produce, dairy and staples. 6 pm for seafood, because the boats have to confirm what will land before we can promise it. On a day we are already in your zone, an order before 11 am can usually join the 4–7 pm top-up run.
Minimums and charges. ₹300 household minimum. Free delivery on ₹500 and above in Puducherry city, Auroville and Kottakuppam; ₹40 below that. Karaikal, which we reach on Saturdays only, has a ₹1,500 minimum and a ₹120 charge. Trade standing orders start at ₹1,500 a week.
Payment. UPI, a card link or cash at the door for households, with the invoice on WhatsApp before the van arrives. Trade accounts get a GST invoice every delivery and 15-day credit after four settled weeks. No Aurocard, no membership, no app.
If something is wrong. Message us. Short weight, a spoiled item or a missed drop is credited on your next invoice without a photograph and without an argument. We would rather carry the cost than have you quietly stop trusting the van.

Who we are
PondeFresh is the Puducherry fresh-produce brand of Winmaxi Holidays & Travels Pvt Ltd, a Coimbatore-registered company at 9/5 Subramaniam Road, Ramanathapuram, Coimbatore 641045. The buying, packing and delivery operation is in Puducherry: farm gates in the Bahour and Villianur communes, the landing at Thengaithittu, the Auroville bioregion farms, and a packing table that the van leaves from before 7 am.
We serve Puducherry city from White Town to Villianur, the Auroville bioregion and Kottakuppam, and Karaikal on Saturdays. We are not a marketplace, an app or an aggregator. There is one number and a person answers it.
Questions we answer daily
How do I place an order with PondeFresh?
Send a WhatsApp message to +91 89258 14989 with your locality and roughly what you want. We reply with this week's list, the prices, your zone's route day and the total, usually within 30 minutes between 6 am and 11 pm. There is no app to install and no account to create first.
What are your hours?
Six am to eleven pm, every day, answered by a person. Between 5 and 7 am the buyer is at the farm gates and the harbour, so replies in that hour can be slower. Email is read twice a day and answered the same working day.
What time do orders close?
8 pm the evening before your zone's route day for groceries, produce, dairy and staples, and 6 pm for seafood because the boats decide what can honestly be promised. On a route day, an order placed before 11 am can usually join the 4 to 7 pm top-up run in that zone.
Do you speak French?
Yes, along with Tamil and English. It matters here more than it would elsewhere — Auroville has 3,527 residents from 61 nationalities including 401 from France, and Puducherry town has its own long-settled francophone households. Write in whichever of the three is easiest.
How do I open a trade account?
Message the same number and say "trade account". Send the property name and area, a week's typical requirement or a photograph of your current supplier's invoice, whether you need a certified organic line, and your GSTIN. A priced trade list comes back within 24 hours.
What if my delivery is wrong or something is spoiled?
Message us and it is credited on your next invoice. No photograph, no return, no argument. It happens on roughly one order in twenty, usually to greens in the hot months, and carrying that cost is considerably cheaper for us than losing a household's trust in the van.
